FUNDING has been announced to continue providing music tuition to around 15,000 youngsters in the borough.
Bromley councillors agreed a sum of almost £450,000 to be given to the Bromley Youth Music Trust over the next year.
The cash will enable the trust to offer instrumental and vocal tuition to children through schools and at its centre in Southborough Lane, Petts Wood.
Bromley Council’s portfolio holder for children and young people Councillor Ernest Noad said: “Bromley Youth Music Trust does outstanding work in helping the young people of this borough to achieve excellence in music.
“The council is delighted to be able to continue its funding.”
