A CANCER charity is appealing for runners to take part in a half-marathon.
Breast Cancer Campaign has 30 places available in its running team for the Run to the Beat race in Greenwich on September 26.
Events Assistant, Julia Petrukhina , said: “So far we have 31 runners geared up to run for us and we’d love to make this year’s team the biggest yet, so please sign up and help us take a step closer to beating breast cancer.”
The event is organised by Sony Ericsson and will be set to music - inspiring athletes as they run along the 13.1 mile route.
Places must be filled by July 1.
