PENSIONERS travelled from across the world to attend a school reunion and reminisce about their childhood.
A group of 14 women who started at Gravesend Grammar School For Girls in 1952 reunited in the town last month, with three coming from as far away as New Zealand, Norway and France.
The women, who were all born in 1941, met at the home of classmate Christine Mason in Whitehill Road and chatted about their time at the school in Pelham Road and their lives since.
Mrs Mason said: “Many stories were retold during the afternoon, mostly unfinished as they were drowned out by much noise and laughter.”
