TWO women were rushed to hospital after falling 50ft into a quarry.
Firefighters rescued the two women, said to be in their late teens, from the pit off Knockhall Road in Greenhithe after being called out at around 10pm on Sunday.
The rescue took around two hours, with firefighters climbing and abseiling down into the pit to reach the women.
The women were placed on spinal boards as a precaution before being taken to Darent Valley Hospital by paramedics.
A hospital spokesman said both women had serious but not life threatening injuries.
