A 52-YEAR-OLD woman has denied the murder of a man who died following a fire at his flat.
Patricia Malcolm, of Stanstead Road, Catford, appeared at the Old Bailey today (May 28) to deny six charges including murder.
She also denies theft, three counts of fraud by false representation and perverting the course of justice.
Frank Hancock, 63, was rescued by firefighters from his home in Pattenden Road, Catford, on February 4.
He was taken to Lewisham Hospital suffering from severe burns before being transferred to Chelmsford Hospital where he died on February 9.
Malcolm will reappear on June 17 but a date for the trial has not yet been set.
