ONE HUNDRED taxi drivers will be travelling in convoy to take 400 children and carers to the seaside.
The Albany Taxi Charity uses black cabs every year to take youngsters with special needs from the borough on a trip.
This year they will leave from Charlton Football Club’s The Valley ground and travel down to Hastings for the day.
Taxis will start to leave the football ground at around 9am on June 16.
The charity was set up in 1972, making its first trip to Margate that year with 72 children.
