POLICE in Belvedere are stepping up their patrols of parks and open spaces to try and head off anti-social behaviour problems over the summer.
Belvedere recreation ground in Albert Road will be one of their particular targets and officers from the ward’s safer neighbourthoods team have already seized alcohol from under-age drinkers in the recreation ground.
Their move comes at the request of local residents, who have also asked police to concentrate on burglary and vehicle crime over the next three months.
If you have any information about the priority crimes in Belvedere, call the safer neighbourhoods team 020 8721 2050 or email Belvedere@met.police.uk.
