PEOPLE have been celebrating at a week long community festival.
A barn dance, tea dance, historical walk and an open garden day were just some of the events during Hither Green Week.
More than 300 people attended a Spring Fayre which included arts and craft, food stalls, music, African drumming and Morris dancing.
Hither Green Community Association spokeswoman, Jo Deverson, said: “It was fantastic for people in the area to get together and celebrate what we have got.
“People really want to make Hither Green a friendly and safer place to live and this was a good way to do it.”
The community association and St Swithun's Church in Hither Green Lane organised the festival.
