FIGHTING in the street and knives being discarded have led to a flat being locked up.
The flat in Rosewell Close, Penge, will be closed for three months, following the successful closure order obtained by the Penge and Cator Safer Neighbourhood team.
Bromley Magistrates’ Court made the order on May 24, after evidence was given by the safer neighbourhood team and Affinity Sutton Housing Association.
Evidence included street robberies and the use of cannabis in the flat.
Head of the safer neighbourhood team, Sergeant Rob Goodwin, says: “If you act in an anti-social manner with no regard for others, you will be targeted and you may find you lose your home".
Eviction proceedings will now be pursued against the tenant
