AN author is looking for music fans who attended a packed-out 1963 concert by The Beatles.

On June 3 1963, the legendary band were joined at Woolwich’s Granada Cinema by Gerry and the Pacemakers and Roy Orbison.

Author Martin Creasy is compiling a book on the Fab Four’s six UK tours and is looking for people who have memories of the night.

It could be anyone from fans, police who were on duty or cinema staff.

He said: “This was a particularly exciting time to have seen The Beatles. It was early in their career and they were full of enthusiasm.”

If you have any memory of the night, email Mr Creasy at martin.creasy@talk21.com
