A GOLF centre which has transformed itself into “lost island” complete with palm trees and a crashed plane, invited some children in for a dry run before its official opening.
World of Golf on the Sidcup By-Pass is the second of the company’s courses to undergo a dramatic makeover into an adventure course.
After some tuition from the centre’s golf professionals, pupils from Eltham CofE, Eglinton and Cardwell primary schools in Greenwich, ventured out into the unknown.
The course had its official opening at the weekend.
The visit was part of the World of Golf’s work with the Greenwich School Sports Partnership.
