A 24-YEAR-OLD woman has been ordered to pay £300 compensation to the 11-year-old victim of a dog attack.
Gillean Murray, of Frant Close, Penge, was also given a two-year conditional discharge after pleading guilty to allowing a dog to be out of control in a public place and causing injury.
Bromley Magistrates’ Court heard how her two-year-old bullmastiff bit a boy in a park behind Sainsbury’s in Franklin Road, Penge on April 30.
The child was given stitches for deep cuts to his arm and leg at Lewisham Hospital.
The dog has been destroyed.
