FAMILIES are being encouraged to take advantage of a borough’s free attractions as the weather improves.

Places in maritime Greenwich with free entry include the recently-opened Discover Greenwich visitor centre which uses artefacts, artwork, film and stories of former lives to bring the area’s history to life.

The Old Royal Naval College also has free entry to its grounds alongside the Thames as well as the Chapel and Painted Hall Also open to visitors is the National Maritime Museum, which takes in the Queen’s House and Royal Observatory.
