A DARTS league secretary is set to retire after another season of fundraising for the blind.
Dave Beadle will take part in his last presentation night on June 5 at the Rosecroft Social Club in St Mary Cray High Street.
The league secretary of 25 years will present annual trophies to teams in the Orpington and Sevenoaks Darts League.
Mr Beadle officially steps down at the league’s AGM on July 13, when the Kent Association for the Blind will be given a £2,000 cheque.
The association’s community and events fundraising manager, Wendy Suffield, said: “Dave has created such a well-run league, which over the years has raised tens of thousands of pounds for the benefit of the more than 15,500 people registered sight impaired.”
