NORTH KENT: Unsigned bands rock crowd at competition finals
UP and coming musicians took to the stage and rocked the crowd at a competition for unsigned bands.
Band Quest 2010’s final in alternative music took place at the Bull n Vic pub in Dartford’s High Street on Sunday (May 23.
Nine bands took part in the final of the competition, which is organised by music company Rock Matrix and aim to promote and assist Kent bands with dreams of becoming stars.
A Rock Matrix spokesman said: “We aim to help all bands, from the ones who are just starting out to the ones on the verge of being signed.”
The finals of the metal music category of the competition takes place at the Red Lion pub in Crete Hall Road, Gravesend, this Sunday.
