TWO events are taking place in north Kent to mark Carers Week, the celebration of people who care for ill or disabled friends and family.
North Kent mental health charity DGS MIND and national charity Carers Support are holding an information day for carers at the Riverside Centre in Dickens Road, Gravesend, on June 16.
The Bexley and Dartford branch of the MS Society and North West Kent Carers will be manning a stall in Dartford’s High Street on June 17, also to give information to carers.
An MS Society spokesman said: “Carers Week highlights the vital work done by those who provide unpaid care for someone who is ill, frail or disabled.”
