GRAVESEND: Fire destroys garage
A GARAGE was completely destroyed by a fire in Gravesend last night (May 25).
Firefighters had to pull down the building in Valley Drive after they had put out the flames at around 11pm.
But the two crews from Thames-side fire station managed to stop the fire from spreading to neighbouring garages and the two on either side suffered only minor damage.
The cause of the blaze is now under investigation.
