DIY giants B&Q have applied to extend to the time limit of its planning permission to redevelop its existing site and land on the opposite side of Cray Road, Foots Cray.
The outline permission, granted in 2006, involves the demolition of existing buildings and erection of a non-food retail store on two floors together with ancillary cafe, entrance,offices, goods handling, external storage, builders yard, servicing and delivery areas with 469 car parking spaces at lower ground level.
The application also includes 30 residential flats, an 80-bed hotel, car showroom and workshop, 10 live/work units, other employment uses and 256 car parking spaces.
There would also be new accesses from Edgington Way, Cray Road and Powerscroft Rd and remodelled access from Cray Road/Watery Lane and a remodelled exit onto the A20 slip road.
People have until May 27 to comment to Bexley Council.
