A SPORTS centre has received a £1m fitness boost.
Greenwich Leisure Limited has invested the cash into providing a state-of-the art health and fitness suite for the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.
New facilities include 100 stations of techno gym equipment, three new cable stations for muscle building, four sets of cardio equipment, including treadmills and exercise bikes, as well as 100 lockers.
GLL partnership manager Tony Wallace said: “With the London Olympics and Paralympics on the horizon, our aim is for the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre to be a hub of excellence in sport both leading up to 2012 and beyond, providing a lasting legacy for London.”
