EVERY year a group of people make their way back to their childhood home.
They are the children brought up in The Hollies off Halfway Street, Sidcup.
The home built in 1902 and run by Southwark Council, is now an up-market housing estate, but many of the original buildings still remain.
Its former gym, now the estate’s country club, has been made available for the group’s annual reunion.
More than 100 people now make the pilgrimage back to Sidcup and come from across Europe and as far away as Australia and the USA.
One former Hollies resident who turned up for last year's reunion was television producer and director William G. Stewart, best known as the host of the Channel 4 quiz show Fifteen to One.
This year’s event takes place on September 11 from 10am to 5pm.
