A SUPERMARKET has launched its campaign to raise money for a local hospice for terminally ill patients.
Morrisons in Coldharbour Road, Northfleet, launched its fundraising efforts for EllenorLions Hospice, which is on the same road, by collecting money outside the store on Wednesday (May 19).
The scheme is part of a nationwide campaign by the supermarket and national charity Help the Hospices to raise a total of £1m for hospices across the country.
EllenorLions Hospice corporate fundraiser Helene Gawel said: “Just £35 raised by Morrisons will enable us to provide chemotherapy treatment for a child in the comfort of their own home.
”We provide vital care and support for children and adults with life-limiting and terminal illnesses and their friends and family in the hospice, at home and at the hospital.”
