PLANS to host late night music, drama and film screenings at a school have run into opposition from its neighbours.
Forest Hill School in Dacres Road has applied to Lewisham Council for a new premises licence allowing entertainment until 11pm.
The school hopes it can use the licence to put on concerts, showcases, plays and other events.
But a host of people living nearby have contacted the council to object to the proposal.
They claim the events will cause unwelcome noise and bring large crowds of people to the largely residential area.
A decision will be made by a council licensing committee tomorrow (May 27).
