TAP dancers from north Kent will represent Great Britain at the World Dance Championships.
Dancers based in Dartford have been chosen to be Britain’s 12-person adult tap team at the championships in Hungary, which run from Wednesday (May 26) to Sunday.
Last week they showcased their skills for the Mayor of Dartford Councillor Pat Coleman and representatives from Kent County Council, which has given the team £2,000 towards the costs of competing.
Paula Gosnell, who choreographs the team, says she is confident they will go far at the champiobships.
She said: “We have a very talented team, ranging in ages from 17 to 71, and their commitment has been amazing.”
