A NEWLY-QUALIFIED Royal Air Force officer is flying high after recently graduating from military college.
Rebecca Clarke graduated as a Flying Officer at RAF Cranwell’s Officer and Aircrew Cadet Training Unit in Lincolnshire.
The 25-year-old from West Wickham joined 143 other cadets in a parade outside the college hall.
She joined the RAF in August last year before starting her professional training.
Ms Clarke said: “I have always aspired to be an officer in the RAF and I have worked so hard to get a place and successfully complete the training which was often arduous.
“I am delighted to have graduated and achieved my goal and I am excited about the start of my new career and all the challenges that lie ahead.”
