UNIVERSITY staff and students raised £500 for wounded servicemen and women at a networking day.
The University of Greenwich held the event to welcome students who had signed up to its adult nursing course.
Money raised from a book and cake sale will be donated to the Help for Heroes charity, marking the connection between nursing and the Armed Forces.
Programme leader at the university Alison Cork said: “I was impressed with the generosity shown by staff, students and volunteers.
“We are pleased to be able to donate to such a worthy cause.”
