EXCEPTIONAL teachers are being recognised at the annual Teaching Awards.
South Rise Primary School’s, Jodie Collins, has been nominated for the Next Generation Learning award.
She teaches ICT at the school in Brewery Road, Plumstead.
Sandra Skelton from Christ the King Sixth Form College in Belmont Grove, Lewisham, has been nominated for The Award for Enterprise.
And art teacher, Francesca Sanlorenzo, is a finalist for the Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School award.
She teaches at Abbey Manor College in Falmouth Close, Lee.
Leslia Thauoos from Forest Hill School in Dacres Road, Forest Hill, is nominated for Governor of the Year.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony held at The British Museum in Great Russell Street, London, on June 22.
