HISTORICAL buildings and photographs can now be found in an online catalogue.
English Heritage has launched the service allowing people to access images, plans, drawings, reports and publications they are interested in.
The information is held by the organisations’s public archive, National Monuments Record (NMR), and until now, these searches had to be carried out in person at the NMR’s public search rooms in Swindon.
More than one million documents and photographs of buildings throughout England are contained within the catalogue.
This includes Bromley-related information such as the town centre, churches, cinemas and sports centres.
Registration is free but customers have to pay for any documents ordered.
To access the archive, visit englishheritagearchives.org.uk/default.aspx
