A BEXLEY schoolgirl will be the youngest finalist in this year’s Fashion Futures 2 project at London Fashion Week.
Kaltrina Sopa from Erith School, will join 24 other young fashion designer hopefuls from London and Manchester to present her design on the catwalk in September.
Kaltrina was one of five young designers from Bexley schools taking part in this year’s design competition looking for one-off designs inspired by the new Renaissance and medieval galleries at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
More than 100 students aged between 16 and 18, took part in the competition run by the creative charity Fashion Awareness Direct.
Kaltrina will now enjoy a week-long design summer school at the University of East London together with the other finalists.
