TWO teachers will have to overcome a fear of heights for a sponsored 13,000ft parachute jump.
Year 9 pupils at Charles Darwin School, Jail Lane, Biggin Hill have set a target of raising £3,500 for charity Help for Heroes, which supports soldiers wounded on the frontline.
They have already raised £2,550 and teachers Anne Adams and Katy Farrell hope to help generate the rest of the cash by jumping at the Army Training Estate on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire on Wednesday (May 26).
Miss Farrell said: “It is actually my 27th birthday and I can’t think of a better way to be spending it.”
People can donate money in a collection box at the school reception.
