A BRASS band on the look out for new talent put on a sparkling performance at a festival.
The Crystal Palace Progress Band played a variety of tunes ranging from traditional marches to popular hits from West End shows at the Penge Festival Fete.
Attracting musicians from across south London, the Crystal Palace Progress Band is the development and training section of the long-established Crystal Palace Brass Band.
Musical director Chris Mackey said: “It is great fun being part of the band and there are plenty of members on hand to help out if you haven't had much experience of playing before.”
