LACEMAKERS mounted a special display of their work to celebrate their group’s 25th anniversary.
The Bromley Lacemakers has around 30 members who meet every two months at Community House in South Street, Bromley from 10am to 4pm for a day of lacemaking.
Members made small pieces of lace using different types of material to create their anniversary display.
Group secretary Sheila Seppings said: “Lacemaking is not as popular as it used to be but it’s a very interesting craft to get involved with.
“It’s not difficult once you’ve been taught and it can be very relaxing.
“You get yourself lost in it and all the cares of the world pass you by.”
