POLICE are appealing for information after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in broad daylight.
The boy, who is in a stable condition, was attacked by a gang of seven youths at 6.30pm yesterday in Ennersdale Road, Hither Green.
It took place near the junction with Arlington Close as the victim chatted with friends.

The suspects are described as mostly black and mixed race boys aged from 15 to 17 and wearing dark clothing.
Detective Constable Abraham Pino, who is leading the Lewisham police investigation, said: “We are keeping an open mind in relation to motive for this very violent attack so any information no matter how small, could be crucial.
“We would urgently like to hear from anyone who may have information about this incident so that we can quickly locate the suspects and bring them to justice.”
