AN EXTRA time penalty winner from Abbey Ingram secured the Kent Schools U18 FA Silver Jubilee Trophy for the CPLFC Priory School in a 2-1 success over Rochester Grammar School.
Rochester survived an early onslaught from the Priory and then stunned the Orpington side by taking the lead against the run of play on nine minutes.
The score remained 1-0 until the final minute when Dannielle Glancy put in a cross from the right and substitute Katie Jackson fired home to set up extra time.
Midway through the second half of extra time, Georgie Perkins picked out Jackson with a perfect pass.
The ball bounced and the Jackson headed it past her opponent, only to be brought down for a penalty. Ingram stepped up, composed herself as the tension rose and smashed the spot kick into the roof of the net.
Rochester were unable to respond to the setback and the Priory held on to the final whistle to retain the Silver Jubilee Trophy for the second successive year.
