A WOMAN lucky to be alive has shaved her head to raise money for charity.
Sharon Clark, 46, of Burnham Road, Dartford, was sponsored by family and friends at The Ship Inn, Green Street, on March 27 to raise £2,000 for the Kent Air Ambulance.
The ambulance saved the mother-of-three’s life when it airlifted her to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel after her car collided with a lorry last February.
She said: “I felt that just saying thank you was not enough so I wanted to do this to give something back.
“I really do owe my life to the Kent Air Ambulance and I’m determined to do something every year to raise money for them.”
