A LEISURE centre is holding an aerobics day to raise money for a hospice for the terminally ill.
Cygnet Leisure Centre in Old Perry Street, Northfleet, is hosting the sponsored event on Sunday (May 23) to raise money for EllenorLions Hospice.
As well as aerobics sessions, there will be stalls selling fitness clothing and a raffle, with all proceeds going to the hospice based in Coldharbour Road, Northfleet.
A spokeswoman for Gravesham Community Leisure Limited, which runs the centre, said: “Last year more than 50 people attended and a staggering £8,285 was raised.
“We are aiming even higher this year and want to generate as much interest and support as possible for the hospice.”
To take part, pick up a sponsorship form from reception at the leisure centre or call 01474 337471.
