SCHOOLS and other organisations being urged to unleash the creative talents of Bexley’s young people and get involved in this year’s Children’s Art Day.
The project, run by engage, the National Association for Gallery Education, is encouraging groups and organisations across the borough and the country to put on artistic events for the under-19s.
The aim is to get children involved in the visual arts such as drawing and painting, as well as visiting museums and galleries.
The events can feature anything from drawing, sculpture, film making and photography to crafts such as knitting or glass blowing.
The deadline for free registration is June 11 and the events will take place from July 12 to 18.
