A SUMMER of cycling in the capital is being launched this month with a six month programme of free events.
Organised by Sky and British Cycling trained cycle leaders will guide groups of cyclists along chosen routes taking in points of interest, and suitable for a range of cycling abilities.
One of the rides will set off from Bexley on May 30.
Bexley Urban Escapes will head out from Bexley into the Kent countryside on a circular route.
The 14-mile ride is mainly on traffic-free paths and suburban roads, but there will be some hills to negotiate.
There will be stopping points along the way.
