TWO men have been convicted of flytipping after being caught dumping waste.
Agron Cerani, of Palmer Avenue, Gravesend, was sentenced to 100 hours' community service and ordered to pay £1,392 costs by Dartford magistrates on May 5.
The 29-year-old had admitted dumping armchairs and bags containing building waste in Hall Road, Gravesend, on October 18 last year.
In a separate case at Dartford Magistrates' Court on May 5, Louis Schooling was sentenced to 100 hours' community service and ordered to pay £910 costs.
The 21-year-old, from Gillingham, had admitted dumping tyres at Westcourt Marshes, in the Denton area of Gravesend, on May 23 last year.
Both men were caught by officers from the Clean Kent Campaign, a multi-agency project led by Kent County Council which works to keep the county looking good
