NEW properties for disabled people have been formally unveiled to the public.
Eighteen homes in Heron Court, Thamesmead, have recently been built as part of Gallions Housing Association's attempts to provide more homes to buy and rent in the area.
Two of the properties have been designed specifically for wheelchair users with internal lifts and adaptable kitchens and bathrooms.
Development director at Gallions, Ian Beckett, said: "“We are continuing to invest in Thamesmead.
"This latest development also demonstrates our desire to create attractive homes that compliment the local environment and meet the needs of local people."
