THE family of actor Kiley McDonnell, paralysed when an exploding building collapsed on him, are holding an entertainment and auction night to raise cash for him.
Mr MacDonnell, 33, of Chapel Road, Bexleyheath, had been appearing in pantomime in Shrewsbury in January, when he was buried in rubble from the collapsing town centre building.
He is now paralysed from the waist down and is currently in the specialist spinal injuries unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Buckinghamshire, learning to adapt to life in a wheelchair.
The event takes place on Saturday (May 15) at Flamingo Park on the Sidcup by-pass from 7pm until midnight.
There will be a raffle, auction, DJ and other entertainment.
Admission is £10 for adults and free for children.
