A COUNCIL is offering people free advice on how to reduce their carbon footprint.
Residents who live in the Rushey Green area of Catford can meet with Lewisham’s Energy Action Zone officers who are also providing information on grants or discounted fuel bills.
Households will also be given two free energy-efficient lightbulbs.
The officers aim to visit every home and are particularly keen to talk to people who are house-bound and those on benefits.
More than 700 residents across Lewisham have already received grants for loft and cavity wall insulation, draught proofing, installation of new heating systems and repairs to heating.
The team hopes to cover all of Lewisham within the next four years.
