A LAST-minute group cancellation means there are still 20 places available on a free workshop on documentary storytelling and film editing.
Run by Mosaic Films, the workshop is on Saturday (May 15) from 1pm to 4pm in the local studies and archive department in the Central library, Townley Road, Bexleyheath.
People will be able to view and edit material from London’s Screen Archives, British Film Institute National Archive, Bexley Council archives and a 1968 film about Thamesmead, and build their own simple documentary.
The workshop is part of a drive to encourage people to enter a new film competition, London Recut.
Workshop places must be booked in advance by calling Andy Robson on 020 7923 2994 or email londonrecut@mosiac films.com with subject “Bexley workshop” and full name and daytime contact number.
