A CURRY and a quiz night has helped raise nearly £1,000 for a school.
Parents, teachers and friends of Steephill School raised £961 which will help pay for a mini-bus, smartboards and outdoor furniture.
Longfield Tandoori in Station Road provided the grub free of charge for the 80 guests.
Natalie English, who helped organise the event, said: "It was absolutely brilliant to have Longfield Tandoori on board.
"We cannot thank them enough."
On Saturday (May 15), the school off Castle Hill, Fawkham will be celebrating its 75th anniversary with an open day.
