LABOUR candidate Teresa Pearce has won the Erith and Thamesmead seat after getting 19,068 votes.
Conservative Candidate Colin Bloom finished second with 13,365 votes and Lib Dem candidate Alex Cunliffe was third with 5,116 votes.
BNP candidates Kevin Saunders got 2,184 votes, finishing ahead of UKIP's Pamela Perrin, who got 1,139 votes.
Laurence Williams, standing for the English Democrats, got 465 votes, while Independent candidate Abbey Akinoshun got 438 votes.
Christian Peoples Alliance candidate Sid Cordle got 379 votes, while Marek Powley, standing for The Green Party, finished last with 322 votes.
