A BEXLEY theatre college invited in the neighbours to enjoy their magnificent grounds, some fun activities, entertainment and tea.
Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance in Burnt Oak Lane, Sidcup, threw open its doors for a free Community Day, which it hopes will become an annual event.
Visitors were able to sing with a rock choir, learn how to samba with professionals and try their hand at puppetry, or just relax, watching others and enjoying a Mad Hatter’s tea party.
There was also a chance to enjoy the college grounds which include a lake and the listed Lamorbey House.
Michael Earley, principal and chief executive of the college said: “The Community Day is for everyone who would like to see what we do at the college and enjoy a day out with us.”
