BROWNIES let off steam to celebrate their centenary on a locomotive train ride.
Groups from across north Kent joined around 1,300 fellow Brownies from London and the south east for an action packed trip to celebrate 100 years of the organisation.
They chugged from London Victoria to Windsor where they enjoyed a boat cruise and a city tour, as well as being treated to medieval entertainment with falconry and knights on horseback.
Lois Derham, division commissioner for Dartford, said: “The whole day was a wonderful experience. There were lots of happy faces and chatter between all the participants.”
