POLICE have made four arrests and seized three animals as they continue to crack down on dangerous dogs in the area.
The pets, suspected to be banned pit bull terriers, were seized in raids by officers in Antelope Road and Cantwell Road, Woolwich, as well as Cambert Way, Blackheath.
The four suspects were arrested on suspicion of possessing a prohibited dog and were bailed to return to Plumstead police station on June 9.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Doug Skinner said: "Anyone with a dangerous or illegal dog will face police actions and is likely to have the dog seized."
