THE BROMLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) ORDER 2003 (AMENDMENT NO. **) ORDER 2010.
THE BROMLEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (TIME RESTRICTED) ORDER 1997 (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2010.
(THE MEADWAY AND WINDSOR DRIVE, CHELSFIELD; BEECHCROFT AND SANDY RIDGE, CHISLEHURST; MAIN ROAD, BIGGIN HILL)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to:-

(a) amend the hours of operation of existing waiting restrictions in The Meadway and Windsor Drive, Chelsfield as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) introduce/extend waiting restrictions in Beechcroft and Sandy Ridge, Chislehurst as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(c) remove one time restricted free parking space on the south west side of Main Road, Biggin Hill and replace with ‘At Any Time’ waiting restrictions to improve sight lines of vehicles exiting the car park of Biggin Hill Christian Fellowship.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environmental Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/544 not later than 14th April 2010.

Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

Schedule:-
WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time:-
 THE MEADWAY, Chelsfield, both sides, from the south eastern kerbline of Windsor Drive south eastwards for a distance of 14m.
WINDSOR DRIVE, Chelsfield, the south east side, from a point 7m
south west of the south western kerbline of The Meadway north eastwards to a point 7m north east of the north eastern kerbline of The Meadway.

No Waiting between 11am and 12noon on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:-
BEECHCROFT, Chislehurst, the west side, from the common boundary of Danholm and Stonywood southwards to the common boundary of Stonywood and Haddon.
THE MEADWAY, Chelsfield, the south west side, from a point 14m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Windsor Drive south eastwards to the north western kerbline of The Woodlands.
WINDSOR DRIVE, Chelsfield, the south east side, (i) from a point 1.5m south west of the party wall of Nos. 49 & 51 north eastwards to a point 7m south west of the south western kerbline of The Meadway; (ii) from a point 7m north east of the north eastern kerbline of The Meadway north eastwards for a distance of 50m; (iii) from the common boundary of Nos. 69 & 71 south westwards to the common boundary of Nos. 73 & 75.

No Waiting between 10am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:-
SANDY RIDGE, Chislehurst, the odd numbered side, from a point 18.29m south west of the south western kerbline of Walden Road south westwards to a point 7m south west of the common boundary of Nos. 51 & 53.
