BUS garage workers have written their way to success.
Short stories written by drivers and staff based at the Orpington bus garage have been published in a book six months after they started reading and writing classes.
The classes were run by Orpington College in a learning room at the garage in Faraday Way, St Mary Cray, and designed to help the workers improve their skills.
Bus garage tutor Christine Newton said: "I'm so proud of everyone who submitted a story. There is so much talent here.
"We're even considering reprinting the book as we have had so much interest and we could have a bestseller on our hands."
The book First Attempts was launched on March 22 at Orpington Library, The Priory, Church Hill.
