PLAN REFUSED: Bromley Council's environmental services department has refused a proposal for a single-storey extension and change of use of ground floor from retail shop and residential to takeaway.
The plan, relating to a site in Newlands Park, Sydenham, also included an external staircase and the relocation of vehicular access at the rear.
ROADS CLOSED: Traffic was brought to a standstill after police closed roads while an ambulance tended to a woman. She is thought to have fallen against a bus after it braked to avoid hitting a car. Heathfield Lane and Ashfield Lane in Chislehurst were cordoned off for 30 minutes on March 24.
FLAT NO: Bromley Council's environmental services department has refused an outline plan for a three-storey block comprising 12 two- bedroom and two three-bedroom flats at a site in Kemerton Road, Beckenham.
MEETING POLICE: The next Bromley police consultative committee meeting will be held at the Daylight Inn, Petts Wood, on April 20 at 7.30pm.
